Front of the house -- front door almost completely covered by a snow drift.

Six Days Later -- chipping ice from gutters and getting snow off the roof

Front door ( obscured by icicles ), seen from an open window in the hall. We closed the window very quickly -- it was about 20 degrees outside.
The porch connects the house with the garage.	Can't use the porch door: a drift is visible behind Nancy.

The wind made a snow table. This was taken from the deck outside the living room door looking toward the little house.
We can't get up to the roof deck to take pictures yet. If we open the door upstairs, all the snow will fall into the room. Our street has not been plowed yet, nor has the street leading to ours. "Maybe tomorrow," says the town. We don't mind. We have everything we need, and it is really beautiful here. 1/24/05
